Dear Khun Thanes krab

I heard that next year the gasoline for diesel will reduce sulfur. I read from some magazine mention that the sulfur will impact to life time and efficiency of Diesel engine. It is only D4D commonrial can use with this gasoline which reduce sulfur. Is it correct? If yes, It is only Toyota is now available. Your answer will be very useful for me to make decision to buy pickup and I plan to use this pick up more than 7 years.

น่าจะใช้คำว่า Diesel Fuel มากกว่า
ส่วนที่ว่า จะลดซัลเฟอร์ลงไป ผมไม่ได้ข่าวครับ
เขาลดมามากแล้วนี่ครับ ไทยเป็นประเทศที่กล่าวกันว่า ลดซัลเฟอร์ในโซล่าหรือน้ำมันดีเซลหมุนเร็วลงไปต่ำกว่าระดับมาตรฐานที่กำหนดไว้มากอยู่แล้ว จะลดลงไปอีกทำไมก็ไม่รู้เหมือนกันครับ

The wear of pistons, rings, and cylinders in a diesel engine will generally increase when there is an excessive amount of Sulfur in the fuel.
Excess sulfur content will also cause vanish to form on the piston skirt and will create oil sludge in the engine crankcase. Sulfur also combines with water to form corrosives as a result of the combustion process. These corrosive can etch finished surfaces, accelerate engine wear, attack softer metals and deteriorate engine oil.
Sulfur content of diesel fuel are most responsible for harmful exhaust emission. Reducing sulfur will reduce sulfur dioxide emission and sulfate fractions of diesel particulates that also will indirectly reduce ambient levels of sulfate partical.
So, sulfur is not necessary in diesel fuel as far as I know.
