งานมอเตอร์โชว์ในครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “ปฏิวัติทุกการเคลื่อนไหว” ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีอันล้ำสมัยที่มีอยู่ในรถยนต์ฮุนได ในงานนี้นอกจากฮุนไดจะเปิดโอกาสให้ลูกค้าได้จองรถยนต์รุ่นใหม่และทดลองขับแล้ว ลูกค้าที่จองรถยนต์ฮุนไดทุกรุ่นตลอดช่วงงานจนถึงสิ้นเดือนเมษายนนี้ ยังได้รับสิทธิ์ลุ้นรับรางวัลมูลค่ารวมกว่า 3 ล้านบาทอีกด้วย

ฮุนไดมีรถยนต์รุ่นใหม่มาแนะนำพร้อมเปิดรับจองในงานนี้ 2 รุ่น ได้แก่ ฮุนได ไอออนิก อิเล็กทริก ซึ่งเป็นรถยนต์พลังงานไฟฟ้าที่ได้รับรางวัลมากมาย ทำให้ฮุนได ไอออนิค เป็นรถพลังงานไฟฟ้าที่ได้รับความนิยมและสามารถเป็นเจ้าของได้ไม่ยาก
ไอออนิก อิเล็กทริก ใช้แบตเตอร์รี่แบบลิเธียม ไอออน โพลิเมอร์ ขนาด 28 กิโลวัตต์ชั่วโมง วิ่งได้ระยะทางสูงสุด 280 กิโลเมตร ให้พละกำลังสูงสุด 120แรงม้า (88kW) แรงบิดสูงสุด 295 นิวตันเมตร เชื่อมต่อผ่านระบบเกียร์แบบ single-speed ที่สามารถพารถยนต์ไปที่ความเร็วสุงสุดที่ 165 กิโลเมตร/ชั่วโมง
สามารถชาร์จไฟเข้าสู่แบตเตอรี่แบบลิเธียม ไอออน โพลิเมอร์ ได้ถึง 80 เปอร์เซ็นต์ภายในเวลาเพียง 24 นาที (ด้วยการชาร์จไฟขนาด 100 กิโลวัตต์) ซึ่งช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกให้ผู้ขับขี่ได้เป็นอย่างดี

March 27, 2018, BANGKOK : Hyundai Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. announces the commencement of sales of its much anticipated IONIQ Electric and introduces a limited edition of the country’s best-selling MPV, the new H-1 ‘Black Series’ at the 39th Bangkok International Motor Show 2018.
This year’s concept is “Revolution in Motion” which suits perfectly the innovations and technologies used across the range of Hyundai’s vehicles. Besides being able to order and arrange test drives, Hyundai again is offering special rewards for customers until the end of April.
“Thailand’s automotive sales finally turned around in 2017 after negative and flat sales for many years. The total industry saw a 13% increase in sales but Hyundai led the pack with a staggering 30% sales increase.” Mr. Toshihide Ano, the president of Hyundai Motor (Thailand) Ltd., said.

Hyundai have 2 new products which can be ordered immediately. First, the much anticipated IONIQ Electric that has taken the world by storm. It’s a multi-award winning vehicle that brings affordable e-driving to the mass market.
The IONIQ EV comes with the 28 KWh lithium-ion polymer battery that delivers a range of up to 280 km. The maximum torque of 295 Nm is delivered by a unique electric motor with a maximum output of 88 kW (120 PS) through the single speed reducer transmission that accelerates the car up to 165 km/h.
It takes a mere 24 minutes to charge the lithium-ion polymer battery up to 80 percent (using the 100kW charger) which offers huge practical convenience to the driver.
“Its sleek aerodynamic silhouette delivers a class-leading Cd value of 0.24 making it one of the most drag coefficient vehicles in the world.
