มร. ทาคายูคิ ซูกิยามา กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ได้ประกาศอำลาตำแหน่งเมื่อวันที่ 6 มกราคม 2559 ที่ผ่านมานี้อย่างเป็นทางการ โดยมร. ทาคายูคิ ซูกิยามา เริ่มเข้ารับตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ตั้งแต่ปี 2552 โดยถือเป็นแม่ทัพใหญ่ในด้านการบริหารงานพัฒนาองค์กร ตลอดจนการวางแผนและพัฒนาการผลิตสินค้ารถยนต์ซูซูกิในประเทศไทย
ตลอดระยะเวลา 6 ปี ที่ผ่านมา มร. ทาคายูคิ ซูกิยามา มีความตั้งใจและทุ่มเทอย่างสูง เพื่อให้ซูซูกิก้าวไปข้างหน้าและเป็นที่รู้จักในวงการอุตสาหกรรมรถยนต์ โดยมีส่วนร่วมและบทบาทสำคัญในการยื่นขอรับการส่งเสริมการลงทุนในการผลิตรถยนต์ประหยัดพลังงานมาตรฐานสากล หรือ อีโคคาร์ ในประเทศไทย โดยมีโรงงานประกอบรถยนต์ซูซูกิ ตั้งอยู่ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมเหมราชอีสเทิร์นซีบอร์ด จังหวัดระยอง มีพื้นที่รวม 412 ไร่ อีกทั้งมีส่วนผลักดันให้รถยนต์ซูซูกิ อีโคคาร์ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย สวิฟท์, เซเลริโอ้ และ เซียส มียอดจำหน่ายสูงสุดรวมทั้งสิ้น 85,765 คันนอกจากนี้ยังเป็นเรี่ยวแรงสำคัญในการส่งซูซูกิ เซเลริโอ้ บุกตลาดยุโรปและเอเชีย ซึ่งปัจจุบัน ซูซูกิ เซเลริโอ้ มียอดส่งออกสู่ตลาดโลกแล้วกว่า 43,979 คันส่งผลให้ซูซูกิ เป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำตลาดรถยนต์นั่งขนาดเล็กที่ได้รับการตอบรับอย่างดีเยี่ยมทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ (ตัวเลขยอดจำหน่ายที่กล่าวถึงข้างต้น ณ เดือนธันวาคม 2558)
ทั้งนี้ภายหลังการหมดวาระในตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด มร. ทาคายูคิ ซูกิยามา จะเดินทางไปรับตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ ณ สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมาร์ โดย มร. โยจิ มุโรซากะ จะเข้ารับตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ต่อไป
มร. โยจิ มุโรซากะ เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 กันยายน 2509 ปัจจุบันอายุ 49 ปี เริ่มร่วมงานกับ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ คอร์ปอเรชั่น ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ในปี พ.ศ. 2532โดย ดูแลด้านการตลาดส่วนต่างประเทศเป็นระยะเวลา 26 ปีและเริ่มเข้ารับตำแหน่ง กรรมการบริหารฝ่ายการตลาด ณ บริษัท ซูซูกิ มอเตอร์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2557 และปัจจุบันดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่
Mr. Takayuki Sugiyama has officially bid farewell to his position as president of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. effective January 6, 2016.
Mr. Sugiyama was appointed as President of Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. since 2009, and played a major role in the organizational development of the company, as well as product planning and development for Suzuki sales network in Thailand.
During the past 6 years, Mr. Sugiyama displayed strong determination in steering Suzuki ahead in the highly competitive automobile market in Thailand. He also participated and played a pivotal role in Suzuki’s application for the Eco Car program in Thailand, with the setting up of the 412-rai Suzuki assembly plant at the Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate in Rayong province.
He also was the major force in promoting the Suzuki Swift, Celerio and Ciaz to become a highly popular eco car with sales of 85,765 units in total, and was also the main coordinator in exporting the Thai-made Suzuki Celerio to penetrate a large number of Asian and European markets. Up to date 43,979 Suzuki Celerio hatchbacks have been exported from Thailand, making Suzuki a leader in the small passenger car market that enjoys excellent popularity in both domestic and overseas markets. After completing his term at Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd., Mr. Sugiyama will next lead Suzuki’s operations in Myanmar as company president. Meanwhile, the leadership at Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. will be handed over to his successor, Mr. Yoji Murosaka.
Mr. Yoji Murosaka was born on 4th September 1966 and is 49 years old now. He had joined Suzuki Motor Corporation in Japan in 1989 with overseas marketing’s department for 26 years. Mr. Yoji Murosaka has joined Suzuki Motor (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. as Executive Director in May 2014 and now succeed Mr. Sugiyama’s role.
